Pupils and Staff alike were saddened today by the retirement after 11 years of School Governor Margaret Hall. Her support and dedication to the school over those 11 years has not just been through her attendance at Governors' Meetings and training events, but through hearing readers, accompanying children on school trips and even donning her famous 'Yellow Wellies' at the Year 6 residential in Avon Tyrrell in the New Forest. She will be a sad loss to the school. The school council presented her with gifts and wished her well in her retirement.
